A 1/43 scale 1953 Ford F-100 Wurlitzer pickup truck made by Durham Classics from Canada. This is the standard version of the 1953 Ford F-100 Wurlitzer pickup truck. A 50th. Anniversary of Wurlitzer jukeboxes was also made by Durham Cassics.

I don't have many Durham Classics in my collection. I had to have this one because of the diecast Wurlitzer jukebox that came with the truck. Yes, the jukebox is diecast.

Thanks for looking.

The diecast Wurlitzer jukebox makes this model standout from many 1/43 scale models that are in my collection.

Very nice Stutz. You know, every time you show something in this forum I get all excited and want to go out to my local hobby shops so I can give them my money.:)

Well Zeb, I'm probably going to do the same thing too!

In a thread that I started, "It's a sad day in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA", I talked about my favorite hobby store closing. My diecast collecting really took off because of this hobby store. There was so much to choose from. The thread is listed below.

Well, now the good news. This hobby store re-opened yesterday (Fri. 10/6/06). I didn't go there, but I'm thinking about going there today (Monday for sure).

I'll post pics of the 50th. Anniversary Wurlitzer truck sometime next week.

The jukebox made me buy both versions. :p

That's a beautiful piece of work.

The logos and the jukebox really complement the truck.
It's not overdone like so many of the commercial tie-in vehicles are these days. Thanx for the post.

I really like the detailing on this one. Besides the jukebox, they even installed a drive shaft and the rims have "Ford" stamped into them. VERY NICE piece!
