This is not a die-cast 1/43, but since I don't have many of them, maybe this could do. :p It's a plastic model from Heller, and I tried to detail it as much as possible. Citroen 2CV is one of the most successful french cars and still has an enormous following in Europe. They built it for 52 years with minor changes through the years... This one is a version, made around 1950 I think.
Notice the license plate HT for Hobby Talk ( just joking :p ).

Die cast or not, it's still cool. I like it, I like it, I like it! You did an awesome job on that thing, and the license plate was a nice touch.

Nice job on the Citroen 2CV model Superbird77.

They only 1/43 scale plastic model kits that I ever bought were a 1968 Firebird and a Camaro from around the same year. They came with a plastic display case in the kit. I think they were made by AMT and were less than a dollar when I bought them in 1968 or 1969. I wish I still had them.

I also bought a couple of 1/43 diecast kits. I think that I still have one of them packed in a box (good luck if I wanted to find it!). It's a Porsche from the 80's (a 930 I believe). I remember the kits were more in price  than an assembled model that the company made.

The 2CV is one of my all time favorite cars. Great model you made!

Thank you :). I really liked these 1:43 model kits, but they were hard to get. I look for them now or then, and now it seems that they don't stock them anymore, so I don't build them anymore... :D :D I'll try to find pictures of some others.

There are numerous Dinky variations over the course of their tenure...

The one I have in 1:43's from Solido. In a shade of well, French blue.

That's a nice model of a cute car.

They're somewhat popular in the US, too, as a novelty ride.

Sad to say, it was a 2CV that Billy Joel crashed into a woman's house a few years ago in New Jersey, I think. The picture I saw was of a smashed maroon and black 2CV. Luckily, it still looked repairable.
