GeraldE61's fine photos of his vintage toy vehicles inspired me to pull a couple of mine down off the shelves for their moment in the spotlight:
This one has no markings anywhere; the base is pressed tin that's painted gray. I think it might represent an early 40s Cadillac:

The inside of this wind-up truck is marked

I hope you like them...
I do! Streamlined to say the least! :)

Very nice, never seen a Slik-Toys windup, very cool. I'll see if I can ID that top car for ya. Those Old wind up Diecast can bring in some good dollars.

Post a pic of the base of the car for me. It's probably marked under the top, which you can't see with the base on.

It's made by the Hubley Corp. Here's one on "ebay", if you can see inside under the top, it should be marked

Thanks for your help - I looked inside today and saw the Hubley name. It brought back fond memories of the Hubleys I had as a kid; I have no idea where they all ended up.
I got this one for $4 at a flea market - that restored one looks extremely nice on e-bay, but since I'm a big fan of original playwear, I like my rough one, especially for the price! :)
It kind of makes them look more real to me. It's like their "original miles" showing through the paint...
(however, I am not against restoration at all!)
Thanks again - I really enjoy seeing your collection, too.
Great toys, great photos. :)
