Washtenaw RC Raceway is happy to post the 2006-2007 track build schedule!!
We are in early!!!!
Track build:
Starts Saturday November 11th, 10am.
Sunday November 12th 10 am.
It will continue every weekday until we are done. Door open at 5 pm. weekdays for track build.
I will post additional notices on all the Michigan web sites.
All volunteers are welcome and truly appreciated. If you can come and help, bring vehicles to test the track with. Also if you can bring some tools to help it is appreciated.
Tools needed:
Wheelbarrows
Hammers
Sledge Hammers
Shovels
Rakes
Cordless drills
6 or 8 ft step ladders.
Push Brooms.
We will be assembling the drivers stand, Hanging banners, building the track, Sweeping the pits to keep the dust down.
I have a technical track designed this season that I think will still run VERY Fast. We will do small track change after 4 races of the point series.
When the track is done, it will be open to all volunteers for practice.
There are some changes this season...
Unfortunately, Carlos is no longer a part of the management of RC Product Designs or Washtenaw RC Raceway.
MOD Classes are now all OPEN Classes. No motor or battery restrictions.
Stock classes are brushed motors and 6 sub C cells.
Novice are encouraged to run a stock motor or the motor that came in the kit with their vehicles.
I am looking forward to a fun and sucessful season at Washtenaw.
It is the Racers and volunteers that make this track special.
Hope you can come and join the fun!!
Dan
