:dude: I will race at classic this year and many years to come.most of you forget if it was not for walt blazing the trail we would not know what quarter scale even is. Not to mention the help he has and will give to anyone. I see him supporting the sport more and longer than anyone else can even think about. As for the QSAC organization there are about 13 QSAC members racing on a regular basis at classic and they can't even mention the classic track on the website, yet a track that does not even exsit has QSAC all over it. I agree with others politics are for politicians not racers.Believe me if we work together racing in northeast ohio will improve and be fun. After all racing is supposed to be fun and if you need to sling S--t, sling it on the track where everyone can sling back. as for lonwolfIam glad you have to set your sites on me ,that must mean I am in front of you

You just have to remember to lift in the corners. If you do not lift you will have to go to the creek to get your car. After one of those wrecks you will lift.

I saw 2 or 3 go to the creek last year. It looks pretty cool. Look by the drivers stand and you will see the lights that use to be in the corner.

maybe you should take some of your own advice and stop posting things that are incorrect.
it doesn't matter how many QSAC members race at classic . If the track isn't sanctioned, (which it is not and never has been by owners choice ) it doesn't get post on QSAC site. that goes for ANY track. Freddies isn't on QSAC site either. when he builds the track, if he doesnt' sanction it, it won't be on QSAC site either. stop creating issues the don't exist. I've seen a LINK to QSAC on freddies site. nothing wrong with that.
better to send someone there to get info on 1/4 s instead of posting it all on your website. my membership to QSAC isnt' current. if i want to post something on the site forsale or etc. I'd better renew first or wont be on there. That goes for anyone no matter where they race.
The tracks and manufactures on the site and in the news letter PAY to be advertised on there. im not talking about the articles in the newsletter but advertisements. The editor even said a article about classic could be
in newletter BUT NOBODY SUBMITTED ANYTHING. :freak:
It time to stop crying about things that don't exist. MONEY is what makes things happen. not someones incorrect statements or someone biased views.

yes its sad another track wanting to run on same night. bitch about that.
I see more dividing happening here then growth with all the mud slinging .
you want growth in northeast ohio ? do something positive instead of negative . thats a start.

Scott, im not taking a personal stab, im just saying in your position as editor, you can totally slip in a couple good words for walts every now and again, if you had a buddy who's track you raced at, and i did see you for maybe a little less than a third of the races, in your position you could stick a blog in every now and again, he is and most of us are members so its not like its totally bad, and at that point you could almost call it your home track other than your dirt, but with the rain we had we saw you more often, and you reply to me as only racing or knowing walt for one season, i've been racing there for easily 6or7 years with this going to be the 3rd racing quarters, and been racing with the other guys 4 or 5 years before that so trust me ,i now how walt can be, and usually more often than not, although we may not like it he's right.

AS of right now I still consider Classic my home track. I have raced at Classic since he opened the doors (where he is now), like 15 / 16 years ago?...... Walt got me into Qscale, he helped me get things started, plus the racing thier is always fun for me.........Remember, I don't write the race reports & pics that are in the QSAC Newsletters, I just put it all together & post. ..... Idea: Why don't you write a report on Classic and send it to me........ B/C I have sent in pics and info. on / about Classic Hobbies Raceway in the past, even when I WAS NOT the editor!

This is the first and last time I will say this in this thread:
Here are the rules, follow them or I will ask Hank to delete the thread and anyone’s HobyTalk privileges that violate the rules.

I have just realized that I too was not following the rules and I have removed my web links to my clubs' site.

1. Treat everyone with respect. While we all may not agree with what everyone's opinion, many people come here to get different opinions. Because someone does not agree with you does not mean you should get nasty with them. Treat others with respect and you will earn everyone’s respect in return.

2. We will not tolerate vulgar language, NO exceptions! Not even words with letters XXXXed out. If you have to X out a word then you already know it is bad. We have many younger people that visit here and we want to keep this a place where everyone is welcome and comfortable.

3. No posting of "visit my website" type messages. Links to sites that helps answer someone’s question is fine. We do not want a bunch of "visit my website" type messages or just messages with a link and no more, I don't do it other places and I expect the same respect here.

4. Please refrain from posting about politics and religion. These are two subjects that are sure to cause deep feelings to come about and have no place on a hobby related web site.

5. The above rules are not the only rules, just the ones most likely to come into question. Use common sense when posting and everyone will find the boards much more enjoyable.

6. Registering using more then one usernames is NOT allowed.

7. Privacy Statement: It's pretty simple. We will never sell, give away or allows others access to member’s information. This includes your email address, IP addresses or any identifiable information.

Jim,

You can have links such as your local track in your signature as long as it's not suggestive. Your links were to your local track & a Mfg. Nothing wrong with letting folks know where you race & what Mfg you prefer. Just don't post "visit my link to my homepage with many links to other sites"...ect.

Hank has been gracious enough to give us an area for 1/4 scales. Without links, how else to get information out to the public about the tracks and the Mfg's?

The other rules are simple and obvious. I've had the Boss delete a post of mine once for getting out of line. He had every right. I signed up knowing the rules & I stepped out of line....he put me back. :)

Thanks for the reminder jbell31, you are right. I am guilty of posting unappropiate words in previous posts, will not happen again. I personally hope that we can continue the privelage of viewing and posting on this thread. I like razzing people and get good laughs at getting it back. If anyone feels like that is inappropiate, please let me know. I do not and will not slander anyone. All of the guys that race at Classic are a great group to be associated with, and I know that we'll clean it up and be respectful of other viewers. I'm not the forum police, but when my enjoyment is threatened, BIG GREEN WILL LET 'EM KNOW, don't screw it up for the rest of us. Thanks, RW
