thats all im saying also, but the forces that be are persistant to make it a same day event as to take walts crowd away, and if you read my earlier posts i also agreed that if you could get the two groups together it would be awesome. but it will take different days to make it happen. but all i'm saying is that they want to make the sport huge, well i'm all for it, but it takes more than a new track to do so. i dont want to step on toes but theres stronger push of a track thats not even built than one that exists to have qsac sanctioning. and thats why i say that the rivalry keeps it real. the cheating part applies to the past ethic of the people planning to race it, not all mind you. iconsider myself as bias as i dont have connections or relations to either track owner, but if i was opening a new track for that much investment i think i would have scouted it out a little bit or a least participate in a couple races to see what its all about. crown royal baby

yeah, actually just saw it on qsac earlier. uuugh i think its good, seeing as how i just ran out of dominator and interceptor,both amsoils. good products, from the couple motors i've seen with all the oils, it just seems like the oil left in the crankcase is a little more burnt looking with the silkolene, but also the motors all had other problems, or weren't that old so i couldn't tell the wear factor

and to add, people know about walts although not one thing is mentioned about his track and the class act heeee is anywhere on qsacs page

its nothing personnal. in the past Classic has been mentioned on qsac and even was in a news letter.
I like running under the lights there. its a drivers track and smart driving goes farther then pure speed. It is very tight and wasn't built for this scale.
while the car count has been good and could even been better, the size is what is holding it back some. walt knows this . the size is what has kept most of the big names off that track. they are worried about damage and
quality of racing. we all know its racable. We had 10 cars on there once in 150 main. went 95 laps without a yellow. And that was with 10.5 carbs.
Don't know if thats possible now, some haven't learned that alittle give and take makes for some great racing there.
I plan on racing the new track and classic as well and hope they work
something out. I haven't heard anyone say they didn't want to go back there. two track close to each other isn't anything new. new for 1/4 around here but not R/C racing. some fued, some work something out.
only time will tell.
I don't believe anyone from that group was using illegal motors. And i don't see that point of even saying that for the subject matter.
Lets just let the cookie crumble and see what happens and hope somthing is worked out or someone makes a effort to do what is best for all. like perhaps racing on different days. or every other week. what ever.

Lets race is 100% correct, to be listed on the QSAC web site your track has to be QSAC Sanctioned (not my rule). And to do that the track has to meet certain requirements. They are all listed on the QSAC site under the "Form Center" link. This is NOT my rule! I did not remove Classic from anywhere! I, like everyone else involved (QSAC) volunteer my time to help this sport grow, reading stuff like this makes me wonder why I bother.......

Also, last year while racing at Classic Ryan asked me if he wrote a racing article about Classic w/pics, if I would post it in the QSAC Newsletter, I said absolutely. I haven't received the story yet.......I urge you , or anyone else to do the same.

I too plan on racing (some) at Classic in 07, I never said I wouldn't. I always have fun their.

I got a little bump and run from him and i havent forgot that slick move yet. Unfortunatly i havent been fast enough to use it on anyone else :( It is good racing and the night time lights make it more like the real deal. I guess I can bring the heap out of the basement and start getting it ready.

You fix what you break and i will let you go a few laps. I think Beero drove my car faster than i did last year. You will be hooked about 2 laps into it and there is no going back after you run a race.

Well guys Big Green has been asking where some of us are.... I try to not sweat the small stuff, but here we go. What really blows my mind on all of this, is the fact that we need more racers PERIOD Everybody slingin SH*# does not help..... Lets just say I have been in r/c racing more than ten years now. I have helped operate several tracks over this time. It seems to me that the word put out and I quote " I will make a bigger and better place to race and in the process close Walt down" Well guys Walt was here before I got into R/C Racing and I have the feeling that he will be here when many of us are done. What seems to be the problem is that Freddies wants to run the same day as a track that has been in the ne ohio area for many years. (read between the lines). Not only will that hurt his attendance but it will hurt Walt's. Which tells me there are some personal reasons why Freddie picked the same day to run as Walt does. I will say this..... I for one will continue to run at Walts period..... If Freddie ran on a different day I would probably run there also..... Hell There was a couple of us that used to race two to three times a week so I would probably support both tracks under different conditions, but my Saturday Nights are already reserved for Classic Hobbies. Now for the cheating issue..... It just seemed real funny that when the mention of having a tire sniffer brought in we lost several racers for the rest of the year...Makes a person think that is all.....I consider everyone that I have met at Classic a friend if I call you a cheater it is because you are a friend!!!!!! If I ask for your advise it is because you are a friend..... If you do need to cheat, then in some way I am sure you find it satisfying. I have always said if I have to cheat to beat a friend it is time for me to quit......... No colors no numbers

i thought that i had read somewhere that freddies can't run on sun. due to the fact he is in a residental area. if this is the case i don't think he is doing it for personal reeasons. it sounds like he is forced to.

Hey guys.. I wasn't refering to anyone in general, surely don't want anyone to take this wrong....there was about more than a few that seemed to quit racing all at once. I also work on some Saturdays.... but not all of them.... Hell if I had to work every Saturday I guess I would have to get a new job cause I love to race.... doesn't matter who I am racing against, I just love the sport. And you are right all this bullshit will cause people to stay away....Just think of all the rumors going on out there now.... Have fun racing guys thats what is about.

Scott, im not taking a personal stab, im just saying in your position as editor, you can totally slip in a couple good words for walts every now and again, if you had a buddy who's track you raced at, and i did see you for maybe a little less than a third of the races, in your position you could stick a blog in every now and again, he is and most of us are members so its not like its totally bad, and at that point you could almost call it your home track other than your dirt, but with the rain we had we saw you more often, and you reply to me as only racing or knowing walt for one season, i've been racing there for easily 6or7 years with this going to be the 3rd racing quarters, and been racing with the other guys 4 or 5 years before that so trust me ,i now how walt can be, and usually more often than not, although we may not like it he's right.
