The Jet 10-14-2006, 12:47 PM MY Wife just went to Keene for a dog event today, when she gets back, I'll ask here to go again sometime and while she does that I'll come racin' .
Talk to ya later, Bret
Bret that would be great would like to see some new faces to race with. What area are you from? Thats why I'm posting on here trying to pick up a few more racers it tough trying to keep a club going. We have a good bunch of guys racing here just not enough.
RCRacer00 10-15-2006, 09:06 PM Looks like A fun place. Is that roll out carpet that's set up every week? Any bigger events planned? I'll make a trip to run up there.
The Jet 10-16-2006, 04:33 PM Tim, I sent an e-mail to the club's address with a bunch of questions.
I saw 2 pictures, 1 of a true oval, and 1 of a tri-oval, which do you run???
2. I think your schedule was for Friday nights, then I saw something about Sundays???
I just need some info to schedule a run, the wife wants to go back, so that'll be cool.
Albany NY is only about 2.5 hrs away...Hop, skip, and a jump  .
Later, Bret
MIKE VALENTINE 10-16-2006, 04:43 PM Any planed Saturday events? Friday and sunday are the hardest days for out of town guys to travel.
RCRacer00 - Yes we do roll the carpet out every week it lays down nice and has alot of traction. We might have a trophy race in Nov. I will post it when we set the date.
Bret, Not sure what you saw for a track maybe on the message board you clicked on the links to other tracks. Our track is a flat oval with a 130' run line. We race Sunday mornings the doors open at 8:am ( if racing picks up we can open sooner. on days we have Trophy races we get the whole day) we have to be picked up and out by noon. Most of us just charge our packs the night before and peak them before we race.
Mike - I understand were your coming from but we only have the room on Sunday mornings that is the only time we race. Can't complain the rent in little to nothing thats why we only charge $2 for weekly racing.
Hope to see some new racers soon, thanks - Tim
