Thx Tom ohiorcracer 09-24-2006, 12:48 PM flat track for trophy race the banked track will open the following week. Kenwood 09-24-2006, 02:52 PM Ill be running 4300 for sure and maybe 19T...Im not sure yet.. :) ohiorcracer 09-24-2006, 09:42 PM I might be running brushless that day as well I wont know till then though. ohiorcracer 09-24-2006, 09:47 PM Oh by the way the race time will be at 3 p.m and the entry fee is $15 and I think the 2nd class is $12. Vince said he was gonna run a tight race program so that everyone is not there to late, he is hoping to be done by 11 or so. If anyone needs a hotel there is a few doown there but the cheapest and closest is motel 6 (2 minutes from track across the road) just go to www.motel6.com (http://www.motel6.com) and book on line for i believe its a $5 discount. schase427 09-24-2006, 09:58 PM Count Scott Chase jr. in for 19t as well as 4300 bl.Can't wait. For those of you who have not been there, now is your chance.Great track and good group of racers.www.platinumhobbies.net later Scott Chase sr. "Frank Ulbrik" 09-24-2006, 10:32 PM gonna try make it for 4300 and prolly 19t as well. ohiorcracer 09-25-2006, 12:33 AM Hey Frank I thought you guys were coming a few weeks ago, what happened? Bring as many as you can, the banked track will be open for all to come in and see it as well. tyler 09-25-2006, 09:56 AM i will bw thear. are they running 1/12? when are we opening? Rick Liehr 09-25-2006, 04:38 PM What are the 19 turn rules? Motor, arms, etc....... Just in the state of 19 turn these days I don't won't to come to a gun fight with a knife. I don't have any of the milled DC 19 turn arms or any of the 13/19 turn Kisbeys. lol Is Finetune doning the tech? Jim Workman 09-25-2006, 06:24 PM 19 t for sure, maybe 1/12 scale spec., and maybe some busch sportsman. Later, Jim :dude: muddd 09-25-2006, 08:00 PM hey guys im runnin stock and 4300, should b a great race Charlie Flanagan Kenwood 09-25-2006, 08:35 PM What are the 19 turn rules? Motor, arms, etc....... Just in the state of 19 turn these days I don't won't to come to a gun fight with a knife. I don't have any of the milled DC 19 turn arms or any of the 13/19 turn Kisbeys. lol Is Finetune doning the tech? I have not been running much 19T there but Ive not seen a DC Milled or any dc motor for that matter at platinum, or Kisbey 13t never seen one, and on that track you would notice it for sure, and Ive never seen the brood outlaw variant there either.. But basically If I remember the posted rules correctly its ARCOR approved 19T motors.. ohiorcracer 09-26-2006, 05:40 AM Yeah rick the rules are arcor type rules any arcor approved motor is allowed. Bring the gang down and race with us check out the new banked track. Rick Liehr 09-26-2006, 07:26 AM Unknown.............(nice) I wasn't saying anything bad about DC cause I do agree with you. His mod arms are some of the best for sure. I just think its silly to have some Illegal arms in a class like 19. It just opens up a can of worms. Sorry I didn't want to make it seem like I was slamming anyone just stating the facts. Later, Rick Liehr Kenwood 09-26-2006, 08:13 AM Kenwood: Not trying to start crap or anything, but most of the motors run in that place are from DC. May not be the milled ones or anything, but I know for a fact that most of them are DC if they are any sort of handwound 19ts. unknown I dont know where you get that from... I race there about every week.. Ive never seen a DC can in that place.. And I really dont care..because wiuth the exception of Chase I have not had anyone give me a run in 19T using my regular arcor 19T motors.. If they are legal DC 19T's then who cares... but Ive never seen any of the funny arms at platinum.. But I have ELSEWHERE so I know what Im looking for.. Many of the guys have me cut their arms Ive never seen anything sketchy.. schase427 09-26-2006, 08:38 AM The 19t motors we been running are c2's wound by dieter and putnum.I personaly have not seen any funny motors here either. later scott chase sr. Kenwood 09-26-2006, 08:59 AM I dont recall seeing anyone come out there and run with unreasonable rip either.. At the race I was at where the DC milled arms were being used you could see a diff in the cars.. MARTIN 09-26-2006, 02:50 PM What are the 19 turn rules? Motor, arms, etc....... Just in the state of 19 turn these days I don't won't to come to a gun fight with a knife. I don't have any of the milled DC 19 turn arms or any of the 13/19 turn Kisbeys. lol Is Finetune doning the tech? You and Adam gonna run this one?I might have to follow the train down. kevjoh 09-26-2006, 03:13 PM UNKNOWN - why are "YOU" not racing this event???? KJ ohiorcracer 09-26-2006, 04:12 PM UNKNOWN - why are "YOU" not racing this event???? KJ Thats what I am saying KJ, There is no one cheating here at platinum we all run pretty close together, You can tell by looking at the lap times, I mean the average is 3.5 lap times and there are the faster guys, Scott, Sean, Greg, David, and myself who can hit 3.2 -3.3 laps. So Please dont come on here and start bad mouthing or accusing anything if you cant even show to race. Kenwood 09-27-2006, 05:15 PM Wow go out of town for a day miss a lot.. Cant believe I struk a nerve like that. Not my intention.. All I was trying to say is racing at Platinum has been close.. I dont believe anyone to be cheating.. Ive not seen any UNREASONABLE RIP 19T cars out there.. Sheeeesshhh Domenic Reese 09-27-2006, 05:19 PM Will be running 19t cant wait see ya then racer97 09-27-2006, 06:05 PM i will be standing there attempting to drive my 19t no running for me get worn out by that. Carpet Assasin 09-29-2006, 02:28 AM If I come down, Can I run on the banked track instead of racing on the flat? I dont have any 19 turns. I was hoping we could run mod or I could just play around on the new banked track? Thanks, Mario Kenwood 09-29-2006, 08:23 AM You would have to ask vince on that one.. Usually guys will go over and run on it while racing weekly..But Im not sure what the deal will be for the big race.. there is no computer over there so you would have to use and orion counter .. I dont know that youll get anyone to commit to running mod on that flat track.. Id scrap my 19T car and run mod But I just dont know how well it will work on that track..Ive put a mod out in practice and it was fine as long as no other cars were on the track but it seemed to use up a LOT of the track all by itself.. ohiorcracer 09-29-2006, 11:38 AM Hey Mario I will be working on the banked track tomorrow to get the rest of the infield carpet glued down so if you want to come down and practice that will be fine but I am not for certain that he wants anyone on it while the races are gone on next weekend. I can let you know. Kenwood 09-29-2006, 12:25 PM My thinking exactly..Unless Mario is on DSM... then it shouldnt matter.. ohiorcracer 09-30-2006, 12:12 AM good warm up race tomorrow come on out. raceforever 09-30-2006, 08:36 AM Mario come on down we'll get you hooked up with a 19T. ohiorcracer 09-30-2006, 11:50 PM Guys I believe the doors are gonna open at 8 am and also found out there is gonna be alot of door prizes available 50/50 drawings food and fun.
