I am having a problem running this game on my new PC.

Every time I try to start the game I get this error:

I have been researching this problem for a few days and it looks like other people are having the same problem and noone has a fix.

I have updated all of the drivers I can and have even called my PCs tech support people. No luck so far.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Apparently there is some sort of "copy protection" bug. I patched the game up to the latest version (which allows for no cd) and it works fine.
