TCM is having a day of shorts tomorrow, including stuff from Scorsese, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, and a whole lot more. Some of it's stuff I've only read about!

Dang! Just read this this afternoon! Oh, well. Gonna sign off shortly and go see if I can catch some of these. Thankfully, they seem to be repeating a LOT of it tonight.

I tuned in only intermittently. From what I DID see, it certainly confirms my opinion that most shorts are crappy. Some are genuinely good or great. Some.

Loved the Campion one about the schoolgirls (sex, Beatles, parents).

Ridley Scott's (Boy and Bicycle)was excellent.

The Scorsese and Kubrick ones were quite enjoyable.

Big regret missing the Tournier and Lynch - power shutdown at my house while I was at work, had queued up for recording to no avail.
