#2 red chapparel and yellow elf are the most rare ones. Pennziol is the most common ones.

I saw that too and about freaked until I realized the red one is rare and I have never even seen a yellow Renault with the black nose and wings.

All cars are 1982- The Renault and Pennzoil Chaparral are 440x2 with the big window armatures. The red Chappy is a 440 and yes rare as is the Renault with black wings. I don't think that red Chaparral was a real car. :confused: Next year these cars will be 25 years old and qualify as antiques! :o ;)

The Red Chaparral was a real TYCO car but it only came in a set not sure about a 1:1 version though. I have one it was purchased at a Carlisle PA auto show for a most cheap pice :) The guy selling them got them out of a grabage dumpster where TYCO use to throw away their returns. He had a bunch of the Red Chapparals at the time I believe it was 1990 when I got them. He also had a bunch of AKAI Mazdas too. I have the Renault but no black nose, in fact I'm not sure if the wing is Black I will have to check

Yes I meant 1:1. There wasn't a #2 Chaparral Indy car that I know of. Anyone know the Tyoc set it came in? Had to be something like a Penske Racing set or something.
