It's 18 days till the doors open for this race. At this time we would like to get a count of how many are coming. So we can plan a couple of last details that are attendance dependant. ALSO those planning on coming WITH trailers let us know so we can provide parking for you right out front of the track. Hopefully those doing so will have generators to power the trailers. Also a note for all racers please bring table and chairs just in case ....they maybe needed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to try to make it. I will be at the Aerosmith and Motley Crue concert at the Nissan Pavilion the night before the race. How far from the track is that? Will I need a table, and chair? Just askinig because I cant fit a table in my car. I can manage a chair though.

19 turn HHHMMM we usualy run 4 cell stock BUT if there is enough intrest in 19 turn maybe .......Remember this track is a 70 foot driveline if I remember right.

Jdub if the Nissan pavillion is in DC where I think it is your about 45 minutes roughly from Glen Burnie.

JDub I forgot to tell you if you need a table I think one can be arranged for you just let me know. Loaner tables are very very very very....did I say very?............. limited in number like maybe 4.

Jdub WING ?????? we don't need no stinking wings. All I have ever seen used is the spoiler that comes with the body like the protoforms. I even cut my spoiler down a bit.

Wow, must have a lot of bite in the track. I figured the run line was so small, it wouldn't stick without a wing.

Track is ready for practice now......Sat will be difficult to do practice due to outdoor program from 1:00 til near 8:00......Oval will stay set up through Oct 01 for practice during the week next week........

Hey folks here's some race news: The door prizes are coming in at this time the I.R.S goodies and the Lefthander r/c goodies are here and waiting for the race day.

THE BIG NEWS is unless one of our other contributor/sponcors send something better, we will be raffeling off a tweak board and scales from lefthander.

Tomorrow the doors open at 10am as for Daves race I'm getting in touch with the owner of the store. Also Jim dodge will have to talk to Robby about it as well. As soon as I know you'll know.

Well it looks like the earliest the track could or might open is 9 am this sunday. I hope to know exactly by later this week as our race director was in VEGAS running sedan. I heard he did quite well out there to boot.

So looks like the doors open at 8am, and if I read correctly racing will start at 1pm???? That should be enough time to get the VooDoo sticks charged up. Microman14 you may have a VooDoo brother there with you. Hope I can make it. If I do it will be a Sunday morning decision. I will make sure to bring a table (I bought one) and a chair.

hope you mae it this trac k is a blast to run. and easy to setup for....Ask around my car was moving with old 3800's. main thing is tires...

CORDS CORDS CORDS I forgot to say along with tables and chairs bring extention cords for those who will be pitting along the drivers stand wall. If to many show there will be outdoor pitting as well under the overhang directly out front of the track. The outdoor pitting is a last resort accomodate everyone.

Well folks the 06 Dave Mease Memorial is in the books. At this time I would like to thank every racer that came out and raced with us today. I hope we'll see alot of you through out the winter as you can make it back.

There are some folks out there that deserve a huge thanks for thier support. The following donated items for door prizes LEFTHANDER R/C ....I.R.S .....BEEFY PRODUCTS........BOCA BEARINGS.... Other thanks go to Jim and Robby Dodge for showing early and opening the doors 2 hrs early. Let's all give Robby a thanks for running a great show today as well. With all that said; guys please whether at Hobbytown Glen Burnie or your local shop please ask for the products from the comapnies that donated todays door prizes and help support those companies so they can support us.

This years race netted 242 (at this time) dollars for the Diabetes Association. FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO DONATE EVEN THOUGH YOU MISSED THE RACE. SEND FUNDS TO PEMTREK2@YAHOO.COM.Please note in the header that the money is for the Dave Mease Memorial race and if possible have them in by October 10th. For those who asked about donating the entry fee and could not make the race the entry fee was 20 dollars.

Now on to todays winners. winning the A main was John McMinn who got a extra in his winning of a 25 $ certificate from Boca Bearings. The B main was won by TBRC's own Justin Richwagen. While winning the B Justin aslo set his personal best. The C main was won be TBRC's (me) Toby Taylor after some good battling with teammate Brian Mongold who was at one point leading and only 4 cars off my rear bumper while I was running 4th.

Well thats about some up the day in short ......Here's hoping next yrs race can be bigger. Don't forget ...GET OUT AND RACE SOMWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
