ozzy and al have always told me that standard pod is free in general where as the offset pod gives more bite off the corner

Hey man hope to see you and the delaware boys at the next orl race

generally the decision is preference... Some people say the on center pod gives the car more steering... I usually ran offset.. the car always seemed to come off the corner better..

ive tried everything you can imagine on a RIP car,,,(if this is what your talkin about) and i found straight up pod is much bettr for me, seems to free the car up alot, ive tried it on the slider and solid, made abouta tenth or two on lap times,,,,,,,straight up straight up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on aspalt this past summer i ran it straight up
but on carpet last year and at snowbirds i ran it offset T plate offset pod
i tried it a lot of different ways down there and i found this the best for me

hope it helps

Alan seems the pod is a bit wide, were you running a special T plate to offset the pod correctly, in running the car off set off set, did you run a harder tire to free the car up, or going to a stiffer T plate ??????????? curious

ok so a center pod will free the end up and not as palnted in the rear where a off set will put more left weight to come out the the turn and tighten the car up a bit I assume. Let me know if im wrong

correct, with my other cars i hav to stiffen the car up(not meaning front springs) when runnin offset to free it up, with this car it seems runnin a softer set up with the straight up tee has worked, i would like to hear some oppinions on this,,,thx

when you offset the T plate and nothing else that is offset offset
that is as far left you can take it
i pretty much just used less tweak
i also like a soft set up on the RIP car
