Ok guys,

I am trying to figure out what this car is. I've been through my old Car Actions, Competition Plus' etc... and can't find a thing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Exactly! I knew it was a composite craft but didn't remember which one,I used to run a composite craft car it worked great. They had some killer chassis back in the day.

I think I've still got one of them around here somewhere.

Thanks guys! This belongs to a guy I race with every week and it is just as competitive now as it was new! Can anyone tell me what year it came out? Also if anyone has any parts or chassis' that they are willing to part with, leave me your email and I'll make sure he gets it.

Thanks again,
Brian:thumbsup:

Tony you know this car, it's the blue #8 IROC car at Carolina! You know, the one I'm busting my hump to stay neck and neck with! I am constantly amazed at how fast Blake is with this car which I'm sure new cost a fraction of what I have in my Maverick (which also is PRS equipped! Nice products, dude!).

angle x car, that came out in about 1992 I do blelieve. Looks like the center x was cut out for more flex, some holes drilled for weight reduction, and it sported the 6 cell stick pack battery cups from associated too judging y the holes in the chassis plate near the battery slots. Old associated pod on the car, like 10Lss pod, agagin, from the early 90's

I used to run one of those back around that time frame... they were a good car back then, and I think for alot of tracks, probably still capable of being competitive in 4 cell stock and 19 turn classes... not that much has changed.

Yep that's correct. As far as parts go, you can bolt on an L4 pod & t-plate with no issues.

What ever happened to composite craft?

composite craft started making carbon fiber parts for harley davidson's, and found ther to be a TON mor $ to be made doing that, so they got out of r/c, it wasn't profitable enough in comparison to the harley stuff, so they moved their focus to that.
