Here are some pics of a 25 Years of Brooklin Models 1974 - 1999 boxed set produced in 1999. The car is a 1936 Pierce Arrow 1601 Sedan with a 1937 Pierce Arrow Travelodge. The car and trailer were done in silver with gold accents to celebrate the 25th Anniversary. I wish that Brooklin would have picked a car from the 50's or '60's, rather than this car.

The car are trailer are a matched set that is a Limited Edition and have the same serial number etched on the base.

Thanks plankowner! Like I stated above, I wish they made the 25th Anniversary model a 50's or 60's car. Not much you can do if you collect Brooklins (buy it, or pass and regret later that you didn't buy it because you didn't care for it at the time).

You're right lummox, I don't regret it now. I'm glad to see that you stop in and visit the 1/43 scale forum.

A bought a 4 disc DVD set several months ago. One DVD was about '55-'57 Chevies (it was the reason I bought the set....and a good DVD!), one DVD was about the Kings of customizing (George Barris, Boyd Cottington, etc.....a great DVD!), another DVD was about custom car shows (an interesting DVD), and the final DVD was about old trailers and a guy who collected them. Needless to say, the old trailers DVD was the last DVD that I watched. I thought it would be boring and of little interest to me. I was watching the old trailers DVD and my wife sat down in on the sofa. The same Pierce Arrow trailer was that is in this 25th anniversary set came on the TV at that time. I was so thrilled, because I knew nothing about Pierce Arrow trailers. I appreciate them more now. It was like scoring a WL in "the wild". :p
