IndyRC_Racer 09-08-2006, 02:33 PM Looked like something ejected in the slo-mo before it crashed. BTCC Collector 09-08-2006, 02:43 PM I just thought that the plane was cool. Not the explosion, wel explosion cool too but it would suck if it was my plane. But a turbine engine RC plane, that is awsome. Anyone know how much they go for? Or where to buy them? SuperXRAY 09-08-2006, 06:15 PM Why? A good turbine jet, depending on size, will cost anywhere from $5k to $50k, although I've seen some more expensive than that but only due to customization. That price is complete, not just the plane itself. You can get turbine engines for $600, bottom of the barrel. 1Starpower 09-08-2006, 07:45 PM sucks when you have a wing flutter at high speed, the outcome is always bad! Kirk 09-08-2006, 10:39 PM You mean that dude's out 5K+? Oh man! :freak: IndyRC_Racer 09-09-2006, 08:46 AM Just imagine how much in electronics was lost in that crash. At least 1 receiver, maybe 2. Planes that size may run 2 servos per control surface. So I would say that there could be 6-8 servos probably $100+ per servo. At least $1000 in electronics up in smoke. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
