Saturday, October 7 is the date for the first "Big Track" race at the Dubuque Fairground RC Raceway. Only four weeks away!

We move into a larger building for the day (the one that was used only for the New Years Day club race) - track is 48X90, room for 100+ pits all in the same room, food provided by the Fairgrounds auxiliary, no stairs and plenty of parking. Track opens at 1:00 pm, racing at 4:00 - 3 qualifiers and Main Event

We will race all BRL classes plus our regular stock and sportsman classes - get ready for the winter season at a great one day event!

Just a suggestion, but you get a lot more guys to come if you open the track earlier to allow more practice time. You won't get a lot of guys that will make a 3-5 hour driver for 3 hr of practice and 20 mins of racing...

Trust me, open the track at 9am you'll be much happier with the turnout.

Thanks for the suggestion Danny, will bring it up at our next meeting - everything is subject to change except for the dates, we're locked in with the Fairgrounds on that.

Our first Big Track race is coming up next Saturday - Oct. 7 - Let's race!

The next Dubuque Fairground RC Speedway "Big Track" event will be held this Saturday, Nov. 11. Doors open about 1:00 pm, racing at 4:00 pm.

If you are looking for track time on one of the larger carpet ovals in the midwest, this is the place to be!

When will the track be open for practice for the Jan. 1st? Will it be open all weekend?

We'll be open no later than 8:00 am. Since we rent the building on a "one day at a time" basis we will only be open on race day. Join us this weekend if you can - the same size track will be set up - or any of our other race days.
