hey guys I need your oppinion. one of my freind is trying to sell an old tl-01 to another freind of mine. he wants 220$ for it. now before you guys start shouting
"THATS OUTRAGIOUS!" let me tell you what it comes with. The car is a compleate car that runs, it has a traxxas tq3 radio with receiver. old junky servo , lol. It comes with a lrp ai speed controle I think its the cheapie one. it will come with two 3300 mah stick packs. 2 full sets of foam tires that are brand new. 1 set of drift tires (not many people want to drift but a tl-01 would be a good car to do it with) it comes with some anchient firebird body that is beat up . but then it comes with a brand new lancer boddy that looks very nice. I think thats about all it comes with but it may come with a few more things but they are all small and rather insugnificant. so In your oppinion do you think that this is a good deal or do you think my freind should keep looking. I told him to look around for an American made car so that if he breaks it he could just go up to the hobby store and get a replacement part that day. Any advice you guys can give will be very appreceated

Really that seems alittle high but without seeing it i couldnt say, but really if it is something somebody is looking for they might pay a higer price,

American made car? Not sure I'm aware of any of those. Traxxas isn't, HPI isn't, Losi isn't anymore, etc. They are all manufactured overseas. Associated says they are, yet their parts have changed composition while they deny it...interesting.

$220 is very high for a TL-01.

Traxxas Radio = $15.00
Speed Control = $35-40
Battery Packs = $10/ea HIGH
Car itself as roller = $75.00

Those prices are purchased separately, so as a package deal I'd be looking at less than those added together. I'd think around $100.00, even though I wouldn't buy a TL-01 anyways, just preference. :)

Anyway, hope that helps, just being honest with the price.

No price is too high if someone is willing to pay for it. However, I'd do a search in the for sale/wanted to buy section of this site and compare what other TL-01's sold for.

I did some research and that is to much for it, you could find alot better of a car in the swap and sell section of this site for 220 dollors,

lolerz hopfully no one thinks im mean but somone else is buying it. so it doesent realy concern my. Yea i know thats mean but hey at least its outa my hair now and i dont have to wory about my freinds ripping each other off.
