hey i am making turning my old 8hp, verticle crankshaft, lawnmower into a go-kart for my kids. i took out the pullies and want to put in a torque converter, but in order to do so, i need some type of 'differential' that converts my verticle crankshaft into a horizontal one. is this possible? if it is, how do i do it? and if not, what do i do to make it still go fast? please reply. thanks

good luck there is reason why hoizontal shaft engines are used in this application that combined with a torque converter is plenty and a 5 hp has plenty of power for kids ive watched my share of kids crash when too much power was in their hands remember its all fun till you gotta call 911
