Hey guys,Im new here. Im 14 and I have started my DieCast collection 2 years ago. I have everything from HWReal Riders,to Johhny Lighting 97'Issue Hot Rods. But,I feel my biggest find was at Toys'R US. Where I was searching the isels for a JL 1/24 scale Buick Regal. But,instead I found a Barret Jackson 1970 Plymouth GTX Matchbox collectable. I looked on the back of the package and it said it was made in 03'. Of course I bought it without thinking twice. As soon as I brought it home I put it in my collecter case. There it still sits in the package. I was wondering if you guys think its rare,and if so. How much do you think it will be? If it helps,Its like a Mint Green color. Thanks alor guys!!

Hey there Blingy. Welcome to HT. I remember that car. Has been out a couple of years or so. As far as value, that is up to the person collecting. If you like it, it is priceless. Some cars end up being worth more than others. Try not to get caught up in all of that. Just collect what you like. As you get more into it you will learn perceived values.

Blingy, welcome to HT.
Most diecast vehicles produced and sold today should not be looked at as an investment.
Take them out of the packages, check out the detail, play with them and enjoy them.
At least, liberate a few. You will enjoy your collection more this way,I think.

I'd be reluctant to pay more than retail for anything out that there's still availible at retail, just a bit of advice.
