The previous poll (With the Monte Carlo, Mustang & Corvette) made me want to ask this.
Just what makes you buy specific slotcars?

I love the T-Jet Dino Ferrari a lot more than the 63 Buick... but I have them both. I would love to see a lot of the CanAm cars created, would licensing be an issue with them? And we need an AFX Torino or Talladega to run against the Daytona's and Chargers! hoslotfrance 09-05-2006, 08:05 AM Agree with you leeRoy : - I only buy slotcars wich knew racing in scale 1/1 chriscobbs 09-05-2006, 08:27 AM I actually only buy 1966-1977 Ford Bronco slots. Currently that only includes the AFX and Tyco, but luckily Tom's new line has the Bronco in it, so I'll be buying that as well. BKracer 09-05-2006, 09:18 AM i buy cars that im interested in,and i also buy cars that wre historicaly pitted against each other.if i have a porsche 917,than i want a ferrari512.but if a different car is not available,i will buy two of the same and re- number it or re-paint it.in the case of the new chapperal from tomy,i just got #9 and will buy #7.by the way,the chap body will work on the x/mag trac chassis;(with smaller fronts or a little filing of the wheel well)i hope that A/W makes the gt-40 for the x-trac!!in closing,if ya makes the corvette, than ya gots to make the aston so we can replicate the thrilling real life racing between these two great marques!!!!! Captain Fred 09-05-2006, 05:43 PM I've always bought whatever interests me. I buy all brands. I like a large variety of body styles too. rodstrguy 09-05-2006, 06:07 PM I mainly buy GM vehicles and any of the nice "off brands"... If it's a cool muscle car I probably have at least one though! MM GTX was a must have and so were the Dash Super Modifieds. After seeing how nice the Dash Cheeta looks (nice job micyou03!) I will get a couple of those too. RacerDave 09-05-2006, 06:47 PM I'm all over the place with that. Variety is nice. I go through different phases of interest. New stuff, old stuff, all the major brands. I love them all. Dave. micyou03 09-05-2006, 09:10 PM I'm all over the place with that. Variety is nice. I go through different phases of interest. New stuff, old stuff, all the major brands. I love them all. Dave. This is where I am too. Right now I am trying to stick to what I like and make it run good, so that is how I answered thie poll.
