Anybody else seen the new 61 Jag? I just picked one up tonight, it has really nice wheels. Black with chrome rims. If you look real close, they are a pretty good copy of a Halibrand mag. The rest of the car is nice too; chrome bumpers and nice headlight tampos.

They are just like the ones on the Corvette from the 5 pack. Matchbox has come with a couple sets of nice wheels this year.

Picked up that Jag myself a week or 2 ago. The wheels look like they have the spinners or knock-offs on them. A very nice job on this car indeed. It even has a license plate number but my old eyes cant read it. I am sure I will buy more than one of this casting.

Oh yeah, I picked up the 56 Eldorado convertible at the same time. Another nice job but could have had better wheels.

I just picked one up yesterday evening and set it free! I agree it's very nice! :thumbsup: I also like that it has some detail on the red undercarriage. Size wise it seems to fit right in with the rest of my cars even though it says on one of the muffler's that it's 1:61 scale.

The letters on the license plate work out to read 61 Jaguar. F=6th letter of the alphabet, A=1, etc.

Got one a few weeks ago. Popped it right away. very sweet ride. Caught my eye right away. love the wheels.

Didn't really grab my attention with the red base.

The Jag was actually on the front of a peg, and it immediately caught my eye.
I went to check it out, and it passed my moron inspection, looked to see if there was another one, found another and the Crown Victoria Police Cruiser too.
Matchbox keeps this up, they might just pry a few more bucks out of me.

The Jaguar I found was right up front too, I was actually leafing through the MB's to try and find the International cxt and found the crown vic instead,

They got a few of mine this weekend, Found the Ford GT in the Gulf Blue/Orange colors, the Superfast Ford F-150 SVT Concept in green, the SF Cobra in black, and the SF Streaker Ford GT in red w/White & Blue Stripes. Not to metion the Jag the C Vic and the 5 pack with the Cobra and Corvette from a couple of weeks ago.

I had the Jag and the VW Bus in my hands at Target tonight, and put them back on the pegs as I just didn't want to wait in the long lines for 2 cars. Kinda kicking myself now. If they had 2 Jags, I would have so I could dress one up with some racing decals.

I bought the VW Bus, boy what happened to the roof of this casting? And the paint is dull and extra heavy. It looks more like flocking than paint.

There is rumor of a second license plate for the Jag. Matchbox has had problems with the mold on the VW bus......MATTEL will not cast a new mold.
