how do you know if its a chase car?

My take on this is there are 75 models in the Superfast series for 2004, 2005 and 2006. Each of these models is being issued at approx. 10,000-15,500.

In 2004, #24a-`05 C6 Corvette-blue was issued at 5,000 pieces and #24b-'05 C6 Corvette-black was issued at 5,000 pieces.

In 2005, #69 London Taxi was issued at 15,500 pieces that was broken down in two variations: 1) with black wall tires on retro rims issued at approx. 7,750 pieces and 2) with white wall tires and chrome looking rims.

In 2006, 1) #64 Scion xB (Batch 1) was issued at 15,500 pieces that are broken down into two color variations-green and white-approx. 7,750 pieces each, 2) #56 Porsche Boxster (Batch #1) was issued the same way as the Scion. I do recall a third 'chase' model released in Batch #1 but I don't recall the particulars at the moment, 3) #2 (Ford) SVT LIGHNTING CONCEPT (Batch 2) was issued at 15,500 pieces that are broken down into two color variations-white and green-approx. 7,750 pieces each, 4) 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 S/C (Batch 2).

Now if this is not confusing enough, I left out the ROW (color variations) that has been issued as well. The London Taxi was issued at approx. 8,000 pieces with the same tire/wheel variations as the USA issued models.

Have I provided you with a reasonable explanation or have I confused you further? I hope I have cleared it up some for up, olesarge90/Gill

I hate to be the one to tell you this but there was one and only one chase model for 2005 NSF. There was also a ROW issue that accounts for your different color boxes and cars:

USA #1 Pink, ROW #1 (I forgot) BOX model was pink, USA #16 Silver, ROW Blue BOX model blue, USA #48 Yellow, ROW White BOX model was White and USA #49 Red, ROW Black BOX model was black.

The chase vehicle was #69 the black over red London Taxi and the ROW version was black over white. Both the USA and ROW versions had 1/2 of the issue with whitewall rubber like tires and the other 1/2 was issued with blackwall retro hubs and wheels. Hope this helps answer your confusion...Olesarge90/Gill

Checked out your police cars of Oregon. I collect police diecast, and since I live near Milwaukie I won't speed when I see a silver Charger. The OSP have at least 2 blue chevy extended cab p/u.

thanks for helping and i understand what the row box's are but the box has to have the multi-language stamp and mine do not....here's what i have #1 pink / blue box........#16 silver car/blue box.......#20 dark red car/ black box........#48 yellow car/white box.........#49 red car/black box.........please help me understand this as the car color on the box should match car in package....if it does not , it;s a diff. variation, yes!! all my box's are usa version.............thanks please clarify

birdman, that is what you should have the one that you have read on the upper left front corner:

"LIMITED DEDITION 10 of up to 15, 500"

and the ones from the ROW issue read in the same location:

"LIMITED EDITION
EDITION LIMITEE
LIMITIERTE AUFLAGE
EDIZIONE LIMITATA
BEPERKTEOPLAGE
EDICION LIMITADA
EDICAO LIMITADA
BEGRANSAD UPPLAGA
(Russian lettering I believe)

Please see the attached scans of these models that I have mentioned before.

As far as you having a different car that some of the boxes issued here in UAS, some were issued with the ROW color depicted and the rest (the majority) were issued with the color of the model on the box here in the USA.

Now, what makes this model, the LONDON TAXI model issued in USA and ROW versions, is the fact the tires and hubs/rims were issued in a limited number if 1/2 of each of the total number issued. 1/2 with whitewall rubber like tires in both color combinations broken down like this 7,750 ww and 7,750 BW in USA and 4,000 ww and 4,000 BW in ROW.

Now as far as color variations, there was only one for the 2004 NSF issue and that was the #24 model Corvette was issued in two colors both having rubber like wheels black and blue.

I am not an authority on this by any means but this is just my take on this issue of chase models for the MBX NSF 2005. I would have posted a scans of the ROW WW rubber tire version but that one has continued to elude me.

I hope this clears it up for you. Olesarge909/Gill
