Racer 06082 08-27-2006, 06:33 PM Hey racers,
I just got off the phone with Chris to Clarify the Sept. 2nd race.
It will be indoors with a start time of 6pm. 3 rounds qualifiing and a main. It was originally planned for the asphalt, however the lights on the building have not been tended to.
This could be a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to fine tune their ride for the next 2 NEOT races. Medium sized ozite tracks with ICE.
Any other questions Call Chris @ madness.. 860 741 6501.
Once again the oval race will be indoors
Racer 06082 08-27-2006, 06:43 PM Not sure on the battery situation Chris had gone home when I thought about it. Bring them both to be safe.
Madball 08-27-2006, 07:48 PM When is he starting indoor full time?
Racer 06082 08-27-2006, 09:08 PM as soon as there is intrest
Madball 08-27-2006, 10:10 PM Thankx
oldtimer 08-28-2006, 06:13 PM Well can we get a "roll call" for this sat night
omnis85 08-28-2006, 06:15 PM the usual, me and mike will be there, possibly another person, pan car for sure here and more than likely 2 or 3 sk's.
Racer 06082 08-28-2006, 09:08 PM Im tryin to work on Tony Brancato, Hes not sure if hes going to run or not. It depends on how Julie feels. Either way I think they will both make an apperance.
THE BAT 08-28-2006, 09:28 PM I'm going to try to make it.Possibly for the first run on the undertaker.
Mayhem 08-28-2006, 11:18 PM Me and Stevens will be there, need to dust off the flat track ride......
PUF19 08-29-2006, 04:25 PM I called RC Madness today, 4200's are LEGAL for this race.....
oldtimer 08-29-2006, 06:56 PM Can you say voltage upon ya
The Captain 08-29-2006, 07:13 PM I MIGHT show up if we get rained out with the karts, not sure. Anybody in for 19t.
bud3738 08-30-2006, 08:12 AM I hope to be making this trip if I can get someone to go with me..............Not sure how to get there......whats the runline?.............
Dirtydrc 08-30-2006, 12:14 PM If Thompson Speedway rains out this Sat., I will be at Madness. I will be there the following Sat also.
MIKE VALENTINE 08-30-2006, 12:42 PM Dale, bring your 1/10th scale also and the animal lover, cleanup in the kitchen.
Dirtydrc 08-30-2006, 03:13 PM I only run one class at a time. I'm can't multitask like you. Animal Lover won't go. ("cleanup in the kitchen" - am I missing something?)
barrys 08-30-2006, 03:16 PM as a novice (but getting better each week) driver, I always end up trying to figure out which class to run in.
At Madness, even though I am not competing for the summer series in such, I assume I should run Sportsman?
I am willing to use F brush full face (assume I can use a Cobalt, but if I should bring a chrome handout I just need to know in advance (I have a dozen or so accumulated of them if anyone wants one)).
I'm looking forward to try out my new RIP chassis (now that my son broke it in for me the other week at Maximus).
Barry Strasnick
PUF19 08-30-2006, 03:18 PM this is not a NEOT race, no sportsman class, its stock or/and 19 turn.
stock is any roar stock motor any brushes...
MIKE VALENTINE 08-30-2006, 03:20 PM Dale, when I was on the phone with you last night, that's what you said to the animal lover.
Barry, Sportsman would be a good class to start if your questioning it. The CO27 is the motor of choice right now, but you don't have to run it to be fast. I'm not sure the chrome handout is ROAR legal? you may need to ask, since it's epoxy balanced, i think.
barrys 08-30-2006, 03:26 PM Great,
stock with my Cobalt it is then.
thanks
NHOvalRacer 08-30-2006, 03:40 PM I'll be there in the afternoon for some stock racing, just finished putting a few cycles on the 4200's I have and I am a happy camper. See you guys around 2ish if I'm lucky! Anyway I forget what rollout is good for madness, if I remember correctly lasttime I was down there the Co27's came out that day so it was trial and error on the motor rollout. Who knows about Co27's for the oval down there for a good starting rollout. i know motor has alot to do with it, but a good starting point would be nice. See you Saturday afternoon.
Steve for you 105 roll out
oldtimer 08-30-2006, 07:47 PM HEY there bo jo not even close Steve i'll talk with you at the track sat see you then
Racer 06082 08-30-2006, 10:58 PM come on Bohem, dont hold out on all of us....
PUF19 08-30-2006, 11:00 PM No body will know with the 4200's...
scott law 08-30-2006, 11:09 PM I would venture to say 2.10 -2.15 with CO27 and insane 4200 voltage.
Depends how hot and humid it gets saturday night.
Good Luck to all.
SL
Racer 06082 08-30-2006, 11:09 PM oh yeah I talked with Chris tonight, gonna try to have new Ice done for Saturday. Ill be workin on that Friday
omnis85 08-30-2006, 11:39 PM suppose to rain all weekend, when will oval be set up? are they planning to run anything indoors before sat night? wondering if practice is possible.
Danielle 08-30-2006, 11:43 PM Hey I have a question, so I dont step on Chris's toes.... when does he do racing - is it EVERY saturday? Chad and I are thinking of having racing the 1st Saturday of each month - in the evening.... Will that interfere?
omnis85 08-30-2006, 11:47 PM as far as i know its every sat unless, holiday or special events
Danielle 08-31-2006, 12:30 AM Is that for big races, or just in general - and do you mean oval? Like i said I dont want to step on his toes but we are looking to add in one Sat night per month for some racing... Chad wants the 1st Saturday of the month and I just want to make sure it has the least amount of conflicts as possible...ya know?
carl jr 08-31-2006, 12:31 AM What time are they starting
www.tmxpress.net
Ken that was just a joke Steve and I go way back. HOw do you get there from RT 84 and were is there a hotel near by
NHOvalRacer 08-31-2006, 08:33 AM Way back to the LRRC days....... track is similar. I'll see everyone this Saturday, I think I have a good starting point for 4200's. I tried some this weekend in practice where the 3800's normall rollout and it seems like I needed to drop a few teeth. See ya freaks @ the track!
Racer 06082 08-31-2006, 05:50 PM Bojo take mass pike i 90 take exit 5 i think to I91 south ( ct ) get off exit 49, 1st one in Ct. go right at light and its 1 mile down on right Behind Golds Gym.
