TIA carnut2256 08-27-2006, 01:05 AM Does anyone know where I mught find one of those die cast Enterprise 'plain brown wrapper' promos. Who makes it? TIA never heard of this, John..... what scale? carnut2256 08-27-2006, 01:11 AM Did a current and completed search on the Bay, nada. Eurosport94 08-27-2006, 10:39 AM hmm...sounds interesting. But i couldn't find anything either DakotaKid03 08-27-2006, 10:45 AM I have one, found it on ebay a couple years back. On the box is says: Manufactured and Distributed by Hermann Marketing, 1400 N. Price Road, St. Louis MO 63132 There's a battery in there, and when you press down on the top of the car, it says: "Pick Enterprise. We'll pick you up." Eurosport94 08-27-2006, 10:47 AM hey thats cool....what kind of car is it? do you have a pic? DakotaKid03 08-27-2006, 10:49 AM Well, I'm new here, so I don't know much about posting pics yet. But I can give you a link: http://www.hollywood-diecast.com/enterprise_rent.htm DakotaKid03 08-27-2006, 10:50 AM Oh, yeah...it's a 1:64 scale. stupidsquirrels 08-27-2006, 04:30 PM That's da one. I didn't expect anybody'd have one, I saw one bout 9 years ago and put it on my hit list, still no luck. DaWeber 08-30-2006, 10:59 PM About 3-4 years ago, a dealer at the Macungie (PA) Toy Show was selling these for a dollar each. I bought 2 and sent one to a very good friend in Calif. The other one later found a home in WA on a trade for a Kinsmart model (that has since become very plentiful)! But it is in a good home on the other coast! I then inquired of Enterprise Mgt personnel as to where I could find more. The dealer at Macungie, the following year advised he had sold out! I learned from Enterprise that they were offered in their promotional catalog about 2001, but were no longer available! I suspect the above dealer may have been the last one to have these in stock (?) vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
