View Full Version : Check Out My Gallery
WesJY 08-25-2006, 12:12 AM Hi guys, check out my gallery. I upload 19 pictures of cars and one truck that were painted by using airbrush. I only made 7, one guy that I hired did 10 and the rest was bought the way it is. He did awesome job. I found him thru epay and lost contact with him :(
Let me know what you think!
Thanks
Wes

clausheupel 08-25-2006, 08:52 AM Hi Wes,
really a cool fleet of customs you got there Love those flames! Hmm, looks like I finally need an airbrush too...
Errr, whatīs that Starsky & Hutch Torino??? Is it a custom puzzle job from different (plastic?) bodies or is it a resin cast body? I have a Corgi Torino at home waiting for his resin resurrection for years now, but I just couldnīt get my butt up from the couch yet... :hat:

Some good lookers! rr
Nice work! I love that orange Willys.
coach61 08-25-2006, 10:37 AM Some great looking cars!. Wish I could get my hand steady enough to stay in the lines! My attempts look more like a pre-kinder mash of color right now.. but practice practice practice, but in the mean time I have these great paint jobs to look at..

starsky and hutch body is a resin made by i dont know but i got it from roadrunner in the past and did all the painting. it fits on tyco narrow chassis.
and also you noticed that the hood scoop and front grill from those cars in pictures - they are the ones you made for me. thanks for that.
thanks!

WesJY 08-25-2006, 04:13 PM there is a afx ford pick up truck painted in american flag - it was a broken body (no tail lights, side pipes missing, hole in the trunk, front bumper was missing) just fyi on that. its sitting on 4gear chassis and it runs! i think its one of my favorite.
anyway thanks guys for kind words!! i will enjoy them for a while . they are on my display.

Nice job. I like the variety of wheels on your cars. The candy and metallic paint work is pretty good. Whenever I do candy paint it always gets on too thick and pools in the cracks.

they are tricky.. all i did was paint body white then paint 2 coats of metallic (spray cans) just three cars I did (green, blue and red) . Sometimes I had to do it over cuz of overspray or you know.
Thanks!

bumpercar88 08-26-2006, 04:25 PM So you like flames, huh? Great paint jobs it would be hard to pick a favorite! You've really raised the bar for the rest of us to strive to. However the American flag on the pick up really appears to have some depth to it.
AfxToo 08-26-2006, 07:22 PM I think they are all beautiful. I'm a big Charger and Daytona fan and you have certainly made some Chargers that really stand out from the crowd. Super job!
WesJY 08-26-2006, 07:26 PM Thanks!!!
