69Stang 08-25-2006, 06:39 PM Best wishes, and good luck. Glad we will still be seeing you around. If I may ask, where you going and what field?
mn_dodgeboy 08-26-2006, 12:42 AM To all who asked. Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN which is close to my home. I will double major, Spanish, and either english or journalism. I will still buy cars, but not at the rate I am used to. Hopefully, when I get a steady job and have a nice income/source of income, my collecting will resume. Oh, and if you ever do decide to send me RAOK, that would be cool. I know I will ask for HWs and MBXSuperfasts for X Mas.
DaCustomizer 08-26-2006, 01:21 AM PHEW! i thought you will quit collecting forever! thankfully ur aborting!
I was able to sneak in a few MBs when I was in college: BMW M1, '57 Chevy and a few others! I even found an orange Hot Wheels Packin' Pacer on the washroom floor back in '82. I wish I had kept it, but it was just a Hot Wheels car, and not a Matchbox.
Eurosport94 08-27-2006, 10:50 AM good luck man! im in college too and my collecting has definitly had the emergency brake applied to it. I dont think ive bought a car myself in months

mn_dodgeboy 10-26-2006, 09:36 PM woot. My stepmom opened all my cars. WTF? and she got rid of 200+ magazines to "save space". She also decided that all my loose cars should be crammed in a shoebox. I am taking them with me. Also, my 1:18 scales have been used as "playables" for her daughter and her freinds.
Eurosport94 10-26-2006, 10:07 PM wow...thats crappy!!!!!
mn_dodgeboy 10-26-2006, 10:27 PM i found some of them though :)
Swifty 10-27-2006, 01:04 AM woot. My stepmom opened all my cars. WTF? and she got rid of 200+ magazines to "save space". She also decided that all my loose cars should be crammed in a shoebox. Wow, that sucks. Well, at least now they're all liberated. ;) Welcome to the DLM!
How old is her daughter? 1/18 scale cars have small pieces and should not be handled by small children who could choke on such parts...
mn_dodgeboy 10-27-2006, 01:10 AM 11. :(
