Anyone know where I can get one of these? I'm looking for the one with the bleeder screw that fits the Associated center shock. Or, a part number would be nice.
Thanks,
Jack

Jack MIKE VALENTINE 08-25-2006, 10:02 AM I don't think the bladder screw works that well. I have used them and still prefer the cap with a bladder in them. mcRacing 08-25-2006, 11:11 AM the cap works real well on yok shock but the thread are just a hair diff so don't be surprized if you get a lil bit of leeking burbs 08-25-2006, 01:06 PM custom works shock cap is the best fix for the associated shock.. It takes a bit to figure out there right way to build them but when you do its mint.. I had one last almost 2 months without needing a rebuild.. It also feels alot more smooth.. I also like having the ability to adjust shock length by having the rod end on the cap.. The CW cap is flat inside.. it seems to act like a bladder, yet it builds better then a bladder.. there 9 bucks, but worth it.. if your want you can add a blader screw to the stock associated cap..ive tried both ways, and it didnt really make much difference to me over the stock cap.. Also and aluminum associated cap works very wel to.. I never used one, but a buddy of mine did... He built his center shock at the 04 nats.. I bought the car off of him in dec of 05... The center shock still felt as good as a fresh built shock.. You just need to find a way to get rid of the air comming in.. thats the flaw with the stock caps.. jdearhart 08-25-2006, 01:26 PM Hey Burbs, I've got the Custom Works cap, I just haven't quite figured out how to build it right yet. Do you want rebound with these shocks? I'm used to working with fullsize race shocks, so I haven't gotten these down just yet. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks! I like the CW cap with a General Silicones bladder, drill a small vent hole in the cap for no rebound. pepe 08-26-2006, 05:50 AM How does building the center shock with no rebound affect the car? vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
