There is several things that I am illiterate about.
1) Shock Oil; I understand the oil is for dampening (preventing bounce) . What are the determining factors in selecting what viscosity shock oil to use? Also there are different pistons that can be installed in the shock. What determines piston selection?

2)Spring preload; should the springs be preloaded? I believe this pertains to front and back. Should the springs only be adjusted to just eliminate play?

3) Does tire selection determine spring selection? Soft tire / stiffer spring vs hard tire /softer spring?

Can any of the oval masters out there shed any light? Input is appreciated.
