hmmmm...not happy with that meyers manx..... I thought the dune buggys were supposed to be fun little cars? with bright colors and over sized wheels, not dull 1930's or 40's style ugly flat black with too small white wall tires and bucket seats in the back? yuk!

I thought there was a pic posted of the bigger scale ones and they looked better?

Having owned one, and knowing the air-cooled world pretty well, I am dissappointed... here was mine, along with a little Hot Wheels painted up to look similar...it wasn't a Meyers Manx brand... but the HW one is supposed to be a Manx

Actually what you have there is a Manxster................

The 4 seated version of the Manx................

They did exist....................

As for the crappy color................

My observation has been that diecast companies always issue their crappiest color combo's first.................

Figureing it will garner enough sales just because it is new/never done pice.............

Saving the better colors till later to max the most sales out of the casting .....................

Here is one of the 1/24 vwrsions of the Manxster..................
