You guys know that I have tyco 4 lane tracks (4 by 13) and I used 6 tyco X2 High performace power packs (3 on both sides). I only have two reverse polarity X2 packs its not recommend to mixed with regular pack or I will need one more reverse polairty on another side to make it even ? can I add 8 packs ? does it make difference when you add more packs? i would do it even on both sides. If I add more will it go faster or? I am trying to figure out on voltage on this. the more you add the fast they go oorr the cars would run faster and cooler? and also does it use alot of electricty? Let me know about this.

Does anyone have any tyco X2 high performace reverse polairty power pack that i can buy or trade? please email me.

Thanks
Wes

Hi Wes, before putting out the big bucks for a Galinko supply I had 4 X2 wall warts for each of the 6 lanes. I have a bunch I am not using any more if you need some.

If you want to stay with stock power packs I suggest two per lane. The idea is more amps will give you more torque and will keep the cars running cooler. You don't need reverse polarity power packs. Just clip the connector and flip one end 180 degrees and you have reversed the polarity.

Hook them together in parallel configuration. That means joining positive to positive and neg to neg. That will double the amps to about .6 Hooking them together in series pos to neg will double the volts. Fun until the smoke alarm goes off.

Remember to isolate each lane. That way other cars don't speed up when one goes off. Let me know if you want them.

oh man i didnt think of that - so simple ... you are saying i should use 8 power packs - 2 per lane for my 4 lane tyco tracks correct? i would like to buy some from you. how many do you have? i have about 4 that went bad so i will need at least 6 if you have them . let me know how much plus shipping i ll pay thru paypal if you have one or ?? email me darkhawk@comcast.net
