Torpedo said, "It don't look "Finish." It looks Russian. I don't know, he thought it was funny. He said he used to tool Khrushchev around Moscow in something that looked like that before the Cold War. 'Cept it was "Proletariat Black." I caught him before I took these shots trying to hang little red hammer and sickle flags on the front fenders. He maintains he's not a "Commie" just reminiscing. But he also says Khrushchev was just airing his feet at the UN. Bad toe fungus :p

Of course the CH-V16H2O is wedged into the motor cavity.

This one was a JL Chrysler 300. The Sports Coupe was Revell Olds 88. The Coupe' was a Homie Roller and the Saloon was a HW Phantastix or something like that. Looked like a Rodger Rabbit car, and I put a VW bug back end on it. Most of the stuff came from Wally World or flea markets. Sometimes you just gotta get down and dirty. Aint got more than $3.00 in any one of 'em.

"Stang" its good to have them appreciated. Everyone needs a smile from time to time.

Greyhound: That blue is one of my favorites as well. I needed a blue to compliment the other long noses. I wanted to do the roof in a Healey Blue to keep the two toned color scheme going but I couldn't find the bottle. May have fallen in the black hole "Underthetable." Went to two Wally's to find some more in the fingernail polish isle but it was all gone. Hate to spend $4 -$5 on a spray can to paint 1 square inch. Who knows "Underthtable" regurgitates stuff every so often.

Note the absence of Lake Pipes on this one. Just didn't seem appropriate on a touring sedan. And I was in no way influenced by Torpedo's comment about the Lakes looking too "decadent." Good thing for Torpedo he wasn't around during the MaCarthy Era.

Cool, lets see it. Is the idea from existing casting(s) or just off the top of your head.

nice work, man. I love your work. You I like how you take oddball castings and have your twist on 'em. Very creative thinking, dude.

Here's all four of the Long Noses I've done so far. I've got a couple more in mind if I can get my hands on a Studebaker Commadore or Hawk. Though everyones modded a Caddy and 49 Merc I may try my hand at those as well. Glad you like 'em.
