I have a 1:18 Shelby Cobra 427 by Ertl. Problem is I don't know what year it is. Any tips to tell?

What year CObra or what year did said particular model come out? Describe the Cobra and someone may be able help.

The diecast is probably 20 yrs old. I think the car is a '64 or '65. It doesn't have the small (low) windshield that some '64's had. The main differences in it than most is that the sidepipes are white, not chrome, and the rollbar is black, not chrome.
