Sonny B 08-21-2006, 07:15 PM The real question is did the owner put in a padded room so Butch and Sully can go after each other UFC style every week. LOL

pmsimkins 08-30-2006, 01:21 PM If you're still taking input on start times, later would be better for me.
I have a half marathon in the morning and I need all the practice I can get since this will be my return after a year lay off.

pmsimkins 08-30-2006, 01:49 PM Bob,
Thanks. Yeah I know everyone is in it now. I've been lurking around keeping an eye on results. I'm fully expecting to get my butt handed to me for awhile, but hopefully I can get up to speed again.
It's pretty cool how it grew around here from when we started with it.

Sorry can't make it.
rcpilotbill 08-31-2006, 02:29 PM Yes we will be open for some oval racing/practice on Monday the 4th. We will open at Noon.
I have been asked if we would actually race on Mondays and Tuesdays.... the answer to that question is absolutely. We always schedule to race, whether we do or not is a simple question of car count.
Guys that want to practice can do so between rounds as well, so it can work for everyone.
As for the 13.5 motors..... when we can all get them, we will most definetly run them.... In the beginning we can run them with stock brushed if we need to, which will give us the real feedback as to the equality of the motors
Bill
dangerousdave 08-31-2006, 02:31 PM Mike and I will be there on Monday and Tuesday, Hopefully we will have enough cars to race. Dust off those carpet cars and join us at this new fast and friendly track.

Mark #10 09-11-2006, 02:02 AM Something on the Weekend of Oct. 7th & 8th.....and you could count Me and Matt in from Dubuque.
MIDWESTRC 09-11-2006, 12:06 PM To hard to make it down during the week. I hope that you have more races on the weekends then just the one.

Weekend Racing
We are trying to put the finishing touches on our weekend racing program and it is important to us to ensure that we try to make our racing schedule work with as many other racing venues and special events as possible.
We are committed to our oval racing program and will be running races at least once per month on Sundays and are open to making this an every other Sunday program from Mid-October until Mid-April. What we are looking for is some feedback as to the interest level in running a bi-weekly racing program with us this Fall/Winter/Spring.
Thanks for everyone's interest and support! Give a call or email if you have any questions or suggestions.

MIDWESTRC 09-11-2006, 07:57 PM I guess that your biggest concern for other venues would be Triclone and Victory. I think that If you work around those 2 and maybe Dubuque, that things would work fine.
Just my 2 cents.
haysreeling 09-11-2006, 10:51 PM I think a once a month or twice a month sunday race in a addition to the Tuesday racing would prob be the best way to go.
dangerousdave 09-13-2006, 01:02 PM Last night one half of B&B Racing was on top of his game and the other half was out to lunch. Butch the Bullet won the Main with an 80/5.00, both SR & JR had there troubles getting through traffic.Mike D was off for some much needed R&R. Brian C and Ken rounded out the feild. Oh and Sully finished somewhere but wasn't a factor. Racing is getting better and better every week as the track is coming in. We have two more Tuesday nights before the Warm-Up Race.
Dave D
dangerousdave 09-18-2006, 01:53 PM Any one planning on coming down this Tuesday night for oval racing. I am sure The Scully and Butch Show will be there, with Hays's SR & JR, Mike Dygon, Brian C,Ken the new guy, Jeff Gordon AKA weenieboy racing???, Jim H,Bill the boss.
Dave D
dangerousdave 09-20-2006, 02:27 PM Last nights racing was fast and fun, Hays JR was the class of the feild running 81/5.???.Sully was 2nd,Mike D 3rd, Butch 4th in the A Main. Tony Mitchell won the B with Ken,Woody, and Brian C not sure of the exact order of finish of the B. Not racing but stopping by was Greg June who said he was plannning to be back for the Warm Up Race.

haysreeling 09-20-2006, 05:14 PM Fun night of racing last night, the groove is widening out and is coming in very nice, making for some good racing. Traction is coming up excellent. Mr Heft is planning on coming down next tuesday to get ready for the race on the 30th. I'll have another car ready to run and am hoping to bring out a temporarily retired driver.
