Waltrips other ride could come down to Kavapil, Reiuteman or a mix of retired drivers. I was hoping for Ward Burton, but he keeps downplaying where he will wind up

I'd love to see Bill Elliott or Joe Ruttman get that ride. Correct me if I'm wrong- ol' Joe was the first driver to test a Toyota truck?

But if you are a Dodge Boy too like youre name suggest, you realize Dodge will be the first make run out of the sport when 'Toada gets here, right?

NASCAR has been treating Dodge like the red-headed step-child since Daytona '01.

I have been watching the Drift Sport Racing Events with Toyota's against Mustangs that happen once in a while. Its not always the Toyota' wining because they are ricers, Mustangs do win on the flat road courses, on the mountains its a different story. Cant say because they are Jap, they will have special attention. Hey I own a 69 Chev, 77 XR7.

I'm not a huge Toyota fan, but it'll be nice to have another brand car in the races. It gets kinda old (for me anyway) to be watching a race and only seeing three different makes involved. It's gotten to the point where it can be a little hard to tell what's a Chevy and what's a Ford sometimes. Thank goodness for the nose on the Dodge being so different.

Rather than debate the merits of a vehicles performance and ability it comes down to the bashing the National Orgin/Race of the company’s founder. :cry:

I do believe there are some racist undertones when bashing Toyota's entry into NASCAR. I don't think it's racism itself, but when it comes down to it, lots of people don't like it because it's un-American in their eyes. That's when xenophobia starts to rear its ugly head. However, I don't consider it racist in the "traditional" sense. It'd be interesting to see how people would react if BMW or Audi decided to field some stock cars. I don't think it would be quite the same. Maybe we're just really sore at how badly they've beaten us at "our" own game.
