Hey Tim, How is the electric crowd down there??? Or has it been all nitro.

Daniel

Daniel, no electric racing at all. I think the nitro is fairing well at times. There was talk of LPR being a central location for an electric event bringing the Fl, Ga, Ms and Al racers together. I'm not sure what everyone's thoughts about such a race would be but it would be nice to see an electric crowd at LPR again!

That would be nice, make it on a Saturday in November. Maybe it will be cooler for a good turnout. That would give everyone a chance to look at thier schedules and get some feedback for the perfect date to have it.

LPR is the closest track to me, so I am in. Prefer BL but could run 19T. Let's set up a date.

Tim when is the next race at LPR? I would like to see come down and check out the locals.

We may have to scratch Nov 18th...it's college football rival weekend.

T/Giving is on the 23th which means Sat. the 25th would probably be out of the question for those traveling for T/G.

What about the 11th?

I will keep everyone posted on the date.i could see it on a gas car but electric i don't think so now days softer is faster if you slide em you are lapped traffic. i just don't see how you can roll rubber on blues.blue right front maybe in 19t or mod

Tim Mc

Yes, I guess you are right about blues on electrics in Nov... Nitro's a possiblilty if the weather is right.

We have a 1/4 scale all star race in Sept plus regular schedule. I don't know if we could swing it then?

I'm still working on it.

A original member tells me that the run-line for 1/4 scale is 330ft. He could not remember what it would be for 1/10 scale. I'm waiting on an email from a 1/10 scaler to give me a firm answer.

Tim Mc

Okay, Marlin tells me it's 315ft run-line. He should know, he was there when it laid.

We are trying to get a head count for classes. If those planning to attend would please sound off, we would greatly appreciate it. Brushless & .09 or.12 nitro have been mentioned as two classes.

There is at least 2 of us that would run 4300 and .09 or .12 nitro. I am Sure Chip would run 4300 if he is able to make it. Seymore has a 4300 as well, I think.
