Yep...
4 Artin 1/32 cars and a big box of track for $20...
*sigh* I need to stop playing around and get some things done...

Not a bad find at all! Post some pics of the cars - are they in good condition or need some work?

Congrats on the find!

Yeah, I went rummaging Saturday, too. Found a Strombecker Monza set missing the cars for a buck. Great looking box cover. Got it home and looked at the track, there's 15 curves and only 2 straights. And the Monza curve is there, but no transition track. Oh, well, for a buck it was worth the rush of finding slot car stuff.

My son has been playing with the track (I haven't had a chance yet...) and reported to me that 3 of the four cars did not work... *sigh*
But it turned out ok. He worked on the 3 duds and figured out for himself that messed up braids were what was keeping the cars from running.
He straightened the braids and has had all four cars doing laps...
