Hi everybody, I have a tecumseh H50 it will only run when on 25% choke, i have retuned it and this seems to be the only way it will run.
Any ideas?

Air filter new and clean? Sounds like either someone messed with the carb adj. or its got some trash in the carb.

it never had an air filter, just a metal sheet that covered the carb and most of the front, what air filter assembly would i need for a tecumseh h50?

Is it on a snowblower perhaps?

My snowblower has the same setup with the air filter, any ideas where i can find an air filter for it? I think a foampad would do the trick?

For the problem your having now is probably because its not getting enough fuel. Try rebuilding your carb, and than re tuning it. Maybe you will just get lucky if you adjust the throttle jet to give it more gas :)
