Good day Tom,
I just came back from the "End of the Summer Gear-Up" an HO Slot Car racing weekend to raise money for the Victory Junction Gang Summer Camp.
Ther were 3 classes run. One was TJETS only but the other two allowed XT's and your TJET's. I built cars for both classes but had no time to test befor I left.
The XT was straight out of the package with new wheels and tires. I did have to McGiver the front end since you went to the larger front axel. The XT was great the driver wasn't had I had the practice time to dial it in, it was competive right out of the box.
The second car was your new TJET chassis with the larger wheels. I changed tires/wheels, american line pickups and Wizzard Motor brushes, mounted a Sportman NASCAR body. This car was most excellent as fast as any car on the track and when dialed in will run at the top of any TJET race.
So thank you you chassis are getting better you have a most excellent product.
If you decide to make a hop-up kit make some copper pickups like the old American line, and some taller motor brushes based on your existing ones but with a compound like the wizzards use, maybe a 19T crown gear like the old super two, a hardened rear steel axel, and a new racing front end and if possible some stronger motor magnets.
Thanks for all you are doing for our hobby
