West Central Pennsylvania is the best way to describe it's location. 10 miles north of the Butler County Fairgrounds I would say. Ive been to 9 tracks with in 3 hours of Pittsburgh and this is one of the best and they are just getting started. First the drivers stand, it is about 25' by 25' pit a very nice pit area underneath. It offers a great view of the track but it is not so high that you lose contact with your racer. On one side of the stand you overlook a nicely banked dirt oval made with a high traction clay mix and the other side reveals a challenging but logical off road race track of large proportion. I'll start with the back stretch...about 70 yards of engine reving madness the dumps into a high banked sweeper that can be taken wide open, chop the throttle and stab the brakes to set up for a small double that dumps into a 90 degree tight chicane that separates the men from the boys, 15 feet into a 90 that rips 45 ft to a 180 that dumps onto a small double that slides into a long stretched out "s" turn coming back toward the driver's stand. Righ below you is a medium large elevation change that pops you up and into a wicked bowl turn that is to be taken as fast as you like. Now hard on the brakes and into a 180 that keeps your racer in front of the stand and now you must set up for a double double that cuts into another 180 15' and over a small table top that slides into the twin brother of the first 's' turn I talked about. Hit this area just right and you can pull 20 feet on an oponant who doesnt hit it right. Now hard on the brakes and turn 130 degrees onto a 80 ft run way to a monster downside single that runs into an optional double banked turn with a massive elevation change, but be smart and stay low, let your racer compress into the low berm cause it shoots you onto the back straight for your next awesome lap. Give it a try people, it's worth it. www.pvrcr.com

Last Sun., there were 2 of us there. This Sunday it looks as though there will be at least 5.
Now if we can get some more electric guys to show up. I count only 2 maybe 3.

I've seen Revos with very little mods turn 40 sec flat times at this track and that was with a first time run. Truggies are turning 39's with an occasional 38. There is no doubt in my mind that this track evens up the odds for Monsters and truggies and running together would be alot of fun. Buggies are turning 38's and 39's with an occasional 37, so I think this track evens things out for everything with 4 wheel drive.

How far is it from Minersville, Pa. Schuylkill county and do you run 2wd nitro's, like i have a jato 3.3 and would love to get into racing on a stadium track. I've raced motocross so it's in my blood somewhere just have to get out and have some fun.. Also what is the turn-out for that class. And is there anything for newbies. Also how long is a race? and how do i check my fuel that i know it will last. Totally new to the racing scene.

If you are from western Pa , its worth the trip. I can help get you started or hook you up with the good guys that can. Basically, "Consistency" is the key to a great day at the track. Even on a Pro level the big "C" word holds true. A new racer should race at a pace that he or she can stay on the track. Always try to find the middle of the track as you go. As time gos on you will shave time off your laps. On race day, show up early if you can . Also charge all your batteries the night before. There will be three heats and one main. Each race is five minutes long. At the start of a heat race , we will call your name for you to start. These heat races you are racing your self . If somebody catches you on the track, they already beat you on the computer. At that point you should make the right away for them. In the Main, you start on a grid, you will then try to defend your position.
