I love haulers! Well, it all starts with "I love race cars!". But then I love the haulers to transport the race cars.....U following?
I have a nice collection of different types of cars with the correct haulers ( Nascar, Indy, Dirt, Pro Stock, Funny Car, Modified, Rail, IMSA, etc....) and I am always looking for more off beat combos to place in the cases. ( PS---Looking for the Grave Digger Transporter right now). But all this leads me to my gripe!
Why has the makers of retail diecast ( Action, Hot Wheels, Racing Champ) gone to making a "fantasy" haulers instead of accurate replicas? Since when did it become "better" to slap on a made up decal showing a "artsy" painting or graphic design instead of a true replica????
These WM or KM offerings just look cheesy. I also don't see them selling. Is it just a matter of money? Did they simply not want to pay for the sponser license? It's getting harder and more expensive to score authentic transporters. And I don't like it!!!!!
There, I am done, just wanted to get that off my mind. Thanks for letting me!
