hello lads,here are some pix of my attempt to make a porsche 917 lh.call me crazy for butchering up a perfektly good afx bod,but this is one car i just got to have!plan to make resin clones for #3 und #25 from the '70 le mans race,plus a few "fantasy-privateer"color schemes.

thanx for the kind words everyone!i have a few more things to work on for the lh,and when i can get to where i can cast them in a consistant manner,than i probably will be making extras if anyone wants to own one (or two or three)!one thing i have to figure out is whether i should cast the underside of the tail solid,or hollow it out and make a vac-formed cover (or use a light-weight filler product).

make the tail as light as possible, I will buy three...

Only if I upgrage my subscription which I cannot afford to do with a kid about to go to Uni!
But I'll read about him at the Nascar and Autosport sites. Meantime I'll continue to follow my other guys in F1 - Rosberg, Hamilton and Kubica.
