I have a 1:18 Shelby Cobra 427 by Ertl. Problem is I don't know if it's a '64 or '65, it doesn't say. The only thing close to a part # is 1214G. Any tips to tell?

Atencio 08-11-2006, 01:01 AM I wanna say the 64's were still considered prototypes and I don't think they had the bulging rear flares. If it has the bulging flares than I would say it is a later 65-67 SC. A lot of the external features could be changed upon customer request which makes the question harder to answer. Good question for which I have no answer. DaleFan 08-11-2006, 01:16 AM ERTL lists most of their Shelby 427's as 1965's vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
