MKingsley 08-11-2006, 02:07 PM I think this means we will be spending a lot of money on gas this winter......I can't wait for these races.
Mark #10 08-11-2006, 02:34 PM Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww........Gotta Wait till WEDNESDAY?

Jamie Hanson 08-11-2006, 09:11 PM Sonny, what are you doing to me man? Sorry, I am nosey. Not being up in Michigan anymore, I do not even hear the rumors. Lately my oval days have been vanishing. It is mostly sedan racing out here on the east coast. Whatever Sonny has in store, I am going to be sure to attend. That man knows how to put on a race.
Junk 1 08-12-2006, 08:19 AM What is it worth to know before Wednesday, I could sure use the extra gas money.......... Any donations ????????? :freak:
Al S. 08-12-2006, 08:41 AM Hope you can post details on here after the show. I will be busy at the local dirt track races that night. Cant wait

MK Race 08-12-2006, 01:23 PM Hey Sonny, you sure there will be enough interest in having a brushless race? Allen's race last year wasn't too bad, but I don't know if this brushless thing will really take off.

JB39 a brushless motor is a little smaller then the Zenoah you are use to and requires even less maintenance.

MK Race 08-13-2006, 02:21 PM Maybe I'll call from Allen's.:D

MikeM 08-14-2006, 11:55 AM Not sure the 90+ guys in one class at Allen's last year would agree! LOL

MK Race 08-16-2006, 09:39 PM Great job Sonny.
A few questions:
1)Can the race at Allen's count as 1 of the 3?
2)Can you attend the final race at Allen's even if you don't go to any of the other races?
3)Fast 5 will be for all 3 classes, at each event?
Once again, great job.
Matt Bayless 08-16-2006, 09:40 PM In open mod does this mean we can run the reedy motors insteed of Novaks ? Will we run Mod 4 min . ? Does Allens race count as one of the three races ? Sorry Mike I saw you bet me to that question . How you finish at the other races does that detemine what heat you will be in at Allens race?
Thanks Matt Bayless

1.)Mike for National point it's the best 4 out of 7 races. The Novak National Finals at Allen’s will have a larger point value. (1 ½ times that of a regional race)
2.) Yes but we will cap the entries around 160. The top 20 in point for each division will be guaranteed an entry at the finals. Look for some other benefits to be announced in the near future
3.) Yes the Fast 5 will be for all 3 classes.
MK Race 08-16-2006, 10:37 PM Thanks Sonny, got the e-mail too. Looks pretty good.

Matt yes in open mod you will be able to run Novak or Reedy motors. I will provide an aproved list in the rules package. Race length for Mod will be 4 minutes.
The top 20 in point for each division will be guaranteed an entry at the finals. Look for some other benefits to be announced in the near future
Monti007 08-16-2006, 10:39 PM Hey Sonny (AKA Brushless Brown) are you going to race at all of these? I am not sure your ego will handle missing all six "A" mains. I am certain both you and Zubie's photo will not fit on the side of a milk cartain for MIA racers who can't make the "A". That is unless they start selling milk by the 5 gal pal.

Pretty big talk for a guy that got his but kicked by Sully at the last brushless race he attended.
If you really want to know the answer come to an event and just take a look in front of you on the starting grid or right behind you at the 2 minute mark.. Remember lapped cars should always move out of the leaders way.
