Hi all. Just out of curiosity which of the following scale do you PRIMARILY collect?

"Primarily" simply means I have more Johnny Lightnings than anything else, but I have a bunch of everything.

I have mostly 1/64, but I've been getting a lot of 1/18 lately.

I collect mostly 1/24 with a healthy dose of 1/64 mixed in. I have no use for 1/18, but I'm finding myself interested in 1/43. Where I'll find the room for a third scale, I don't know.

Mostly 1/64 ---I find most 1/24 to show too many flaws..

Hi Karl. Primarily, I collect 1/64 scale, but my favorite scale to collect is 1/43.

The collection scale keeps growing on me but will never catch up to the 1:64-1:72.

I do however,collect Batmobiles,Batcycles,Batplanes and Batboats,in every scale I can...from Micro to Macro

For die cast vehicles-
I voted for 1:64. I realize they are really several scales, not at all consistent, but I prefer the size of the mid-60s Matchbox.

I primarily collect 1:64/3" scale.
I also collect 1/72 and some 1/87 from some select manufacturers.
I have a few 1/18 and 1/24 scale diecast vehicles. These are special items.

Cheers. Cobra

Mostly I would say 1/64 scale stuff.....but I like all scales. I am selective though, I won't buy just anything so most of the large scale diecast I have are of the $50+ variety..

Sometimes I wish I would have started out collecting 1/18 scale stuff but now I realize I would have little room and not enough money. 1/64 scale is all I do.

Sometimes that's true, but I find I like to correct those flaws - fixing bodywork, a new paint job, Bare Metal Foil, etc. Sometimes it can be corrected so well, it could pass for a replica costing ten times as much.

Also, the bar has been raised. Maisto and Motormax are really improving their 1/24 cars both in the areas of detail and assembly quality. Jada cars can't really be called replicas because of their customized nature - thus exempting themselves from scutiny. They are, however, very nicely assembled.

Mostly 1/64 and its variants: anything from 1/50 through 1/64. Have some 1/43 and a sprinkling of >1/43 due to subject matter.

I post mostly in the modeling forum, but collect diecasts as well. Though I collect primarily based on subject, that being sci-fi, in any scale. So I chose 1/64th based on size. I prefer the diecasts to be about 3" in length. A number are cars, so they are 1/64th (Batmobiles, Chitty, Bond's Lotus sub that kinda thing), no idea what scale some are though (like BanDai's Airwolfs, the Titanium BSG Galacticas) but they're the same size. Like you guys it's a matter of space, most are in a narrow curio I built from a kit, hoping I can get more of the glass shelves, since I can't fit any more right now.

Mostly the 3" scale (1/64) due to HW and JL, but i have a pretty decent collection of 1/18 and a few 1/24 and 1/43.

My primary collecting scale is 1/64. JL is my favorite because of the quality and price.

I do however have cars from 1/87 scale to 1/12 scale. I did have a couple of 1/8 scale cars, but sold them years ago (too big!). I have some 1/24 scale Franklin Mint cars and about 60 or so 1/18 scale cars left.

My love is still 1/43 scale (especially Brooklins). I have over 200 Brooklins, and miss collecting them (too expensive now). My other makers of 1/43 scale is being weeded out to make room for some current 1/24 scale Johnny Lightning cars.

With out a doubt, 1/64 scale!

I collect all the scales listed . But I would say the 1/64 outnumbers the others ...

1/64, by far the cheapest, and they don't take up much of my very limited space. But I'll get something on a bigger for the right price if i really like it.

I like HW and premium smaller cars, like G Ridez, Pro Rodz, Playerz and the 1BR cars and Truckin' trucks.
