Hello , We're new here and this seems to be a very interesting site...

We did'nt know exactly where to put this topic on the board, but thought we would start with this one... Maybe someone here can help...

We know with some of the more collected cars a race would not be of interest , but maybe with some of the more ordinary cars ...

We are thinking of starting locally (parties, churches, and or schools) a hot wheels race ...

We have a really nice 40 foot 2 lane aluminum track with electronic starting gate and an electronic timer finish line and a software for the computer that can organize and keep the times of the race...

Cars will run twice in each of the 2 lanes and use the average time overall to determine the winner ...

Rules would be something like...

#1. Cars cannot be no wider than 1 1/4" wide ...

#2. The wheels of the car must be at least 1/2 inch apart left to right ...

#3. The car must have at least 4 wheels...

#4. Cars cannot be over 3 inches long ...

#5. Cars cannot weigh more than 3.00 ounces...

Has anyone got any information ,links ,reccommendations or any other information that might can help us out...

Input ,questions ,and suggestions on this matter would be sincerely appreciated!!!
