here is the one i've had for a while:

here is the one i recently acquired, for two reasons:
i needed a rear hook and i noticed that it was one with a flared nose

here is a comparison of the two, from the bottom view:

now, here is the question:
is the flared nose an uncommon trait?

dont have one....... don't know if it means anything, but the one pictured in the Tomarts guide appears to be NON-flared

The flared nose version is often referred to as a hammerhead variation. It is my understanding the hammerhead variation is rarer.

thanks bobby. i still can't believe i got it for so little money. the last few "complete" hairy haulers i watched on e-bay went for a lot more than this one. and this one is in excellent condition. looks like it was never played with.
