I have always been a electric guy, pan cars, off road, ect,
but the nitros are starting to look like fun.
if I get one, is it going to be like my weed wacker that never runs right and takes an hour to get started, I buy a new weed wacker every year. thanks for any info.

spend some time adjusting it see what does what, with a temperature gauge of course, lots of fun... then after ya master the r/c engines you can get all of your weed wackers back out and tune all of them. they are very similar.

LOL! Yeah, the steepest part of the learning curve when going from electric to nitro is definitely the tuning/breaking in aspect. Once you get over that hurdle though, you'll never go back.

just think of all the nitro stuff you could buy if you sold them 8 weedwackers, LOL!
if it helps, i've had the same weedwacker, same spark plug for going on 7 years. still starts right up, idles perfectly. you'll be a whiz before ya know it.

Going to the 09 motor has brought new life to gas in this area. It's fast enough, no harder on tires than electric, no more costly. When you get the basic motor stuff worked out, how to tune and rebuild, you can spend your time running and working on chassis setup. We have close racing because the motors are so close, the difference is all setup. Email me if you have any questions.
