Is anyone out there into ponds or "aquatic gardening". I've got a pair of huge koi I want to get rid of.

Uggh... Koi=super expensive grass carp. A couple i knew put a few in their pond they used for flood control and those bums started eating the grass along the edges, causing massive amounts of erosion to occur. A sidewalk was about to fall apart because of the undermining, and a mobile home threatened by the same.

I think the new land owners took a seine to them and got rid of the pests.

I had suggested using explosives and stun them so they can take them out that way, but was ruled out for it might fracture the underlying strata.

well i do not have a pond but i have sure used enough pond equipment (pumps)in saltwater aquariums

Wow... using explosives!?!?? :cry: Just get a rod and a reel and fish em out( I'm a pro angler, well sorta) A sidewalk falling apart because of grasss carp.. :confused:
