35 gfx if ya got the cash. yes, if you use 3800s, 4200s you'll need to buy an equalizing tray to properly take care of them and get the best from them. i was checkin out the special edition smart tray myself... there's a bunch of other ones available. i think i have my mind made up on the trinity dpd unit.

rock on!

ok i seen now much more has a new tray out that does up to 40 amp discharger and adjustable cut off but there like 190 buxs but i was also think about the new novak with the voltage hold etc.

Also since the trinty does 30 amp dis can i just use it to discharge and equalize them?

Also i seen that trinty has a .90 tray now

just trying to see if i wanna get a high dollar charger liek the gfx and a cheap tray or get a good tray and good charger like the trinty discharger and like a lrp charger

Your going to want a tray that either has a .9 cutoff or is adjustable.. That is the only true way to equalize them.. With the new cells if you go below .9 you lose runtime.. alsi if you dont have a cutoff you can not equalize them.. the cutoff assures all cells stop at the same voltage.. Trays are more money now, but there worth there weight in gold for cell performance..

You do not need a 35 gfx.. there is many chargers out there that work well.. the gfx is nice because of the motor run, and it also has nice graphing features to cycle cells..

i use an integy 16x7v6 it works awesome.. has a cycle mode ect.. I picked it up used for around 75 bucks.. They have a new 16x8 out now that has the motor run dyno built in.. tells rpm, amp draw ect.. the ce unit doesnt do rpm's.. Plusit is only about 200 bucks..

If your not worried about motor run, go with a CE pit bull x3, LRP pulsar, Indi 16x5,16x7,16x8, novak milenium pro, orion advantage. ect ec etc.. there is so many to choose from and alot have great features..

Duratrax ICE...best bang for your buck, and the thing works flawless, have had mine for a year now, and its still workin as good as when i first got it!!!, and for a fraction of the cost of some of the other chargers, you cant beat it, plus you'll have money left over for your tray you want.

seen alot people talkign about the ice might look it up. Looks like ime i either goign wait for the trinty come out or get the much more discharger. Then either the lrp or charger along those lines with charging and motor run.

Duratrax ICE.
For all the reasons that BAR 26 said.
You can buy it and a tray for way less that a CE unit. Plus it will take up less space in your pit box!

Duratrax ICE.Ditto what everybody else said about it.With the diffrent profiles i charge 3300,3800,4200 & receiver packs.Plus when we're going to be able to use LIPO'S,it has 2 diffrent lipo profiles.Only thing i dont like is charging in the sun,you lose the display. But i just cover it.
